Welcome to the Podcast Resource Page
For anyone interested in creating a Podcast, here are easy-to-do step-by-step directions to get you started...
Step 1 It starts with an idea!!
Step 2 Create what you want to record, decide who gets to read what.
Step 3 Record the students reading the content using Audacity to create mp3 files.

Step 4 Assemble your show using Audacity - copy together the recorded pieces in the order you want people to hear them – add background music, special effects. Create mp3 for final distribution.
Step 5 Create the RSS file and final mp3 using Easypodcast. Upload to site.
Click here for some tips on using Easypodcast.
Step 6 Use a service like Apple iTunes to make the podcast public.
Step 7 Do some PR to let everyone know it's available!
Step 8 Revel in the admiration and respect of peers! Watch as kids beam with pride when they show mom, dad, grandma and grandpa what they did at school that day!
Keep in mind the CIPA laws and always get signed Internet release forms from your student's parents. Here is some of the work (not just Podcasting) we have done here at SAD46!
