Dexter is a small rural town of 4000 residents, located in central Maine, approximately forty miles from northwest Bangor. The primary employer in town is SAD #46. Other sources of employment include agriculture, forestry, recreation and services.

Dexter Regional High School Annual Open House

On Wednesday, November 12^th, 2008 Dexter Regional High School will host its annual Open House beginning at 6:00 PM through 8:00 PM. There will be student performances and classroom demonstrations, musical entertainment which will be provided by the High School Chorus, Band and a special performance by the Abbott Hill Ramblers. Information booths on the Tri-County Tech Center, Upward Bound plus many other displays and fund raising activities from various sports booster clubs and organizations will be there. There will be food sales in the cafeteria, and classroom projects being displayed. This is just to name a few of the activities and events that will be going on!

The community is welcomed and encouraged to attend this evening full of enjoyable and entertaining events, as well as have a chance to get to know and talk to school Administration and faculty. Refreshments will be served.
