Dexter Regional High School Mission Statement

The primary purpose of Dexter Regional High School is to prepare students to be integrated and informed thinkers, as well as responsible and involved citizens. The administration, faculty and staff in partnership with the community support self directed and lifelong learning, clear and effective communication, creative and practical problem solving, and collaborative and quality work.

Academic Expectations:

  1. The student will speak and write effectively.
  2. The student will develop independent study and research skills.
  3. The student will develop the ability to define, analyze, and solve problems utilizing a variety of effective strategies.
  4. The student will integrate skills and concepts across several academic disciplines.

Social and Civic Expectations:

  1. The student will recognize and understand the diverse nature of society.
  2. The student will understand the importance of accepting responsibility and the consequences for personal decisions and actions.
  3. The student will develop skills and a willingness to work cooperatively with others.
  4. The student will acquire the knowledge to achieve personal and community health and well being.
